A relaxing wilderness experience for all ages
Corduroy Brook
School and Youth Group Involvement
The Corduroy Brook Nature Trail is a very desirable location for both school and youth group excursions. In the spring and fall many local school classes flock to the trail system for hands on educational opportunities, or simply for an outdoor recreational experience. As well, groups such as Girl Guides and Boy Scouts use the trail for activities to earn badges, or simply as a pleasure outing.
With 15 kilometres of trail, winding its way through different ecological settings including wetland and pond ecosystems, the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail provides an excellent opportunity for education right in our own backyard.
With amenities such as playground and picnic areas, tent sites, and fire and barbecue pits along with the natural assets that nature possesses the trail has everything a youth group could want for an enjoyable outing.
